H.
, 23; and A.
M.
, 32, while they were in A.
M.
house in Rafah.
The armed men took the two kidnaped persons in a Toyota car and beat them.
In his affidavit to Al Mezan, one of the kidnaped persons stated that he was subject to falaka (foot whipping) for 20 minutes and was beaten by cudgels while he was blindfolded.
An hour and a half later, he was taken to another place where he was subject to Shabah (a form oftortureusing prolonged painful positions) for thirty minutes.
After that a man came and asked him about his job.
He informed that man that he was affiliated to the Popular Resistance Committees.
The man asked the kidnaped person about “timer” used to launch rockets.
The kidnaped person said that he did not have one.
The masked men then took him to a cell and unfolded his eyes.
He knew at that point that he was at a security site.
He was allowed to wash his face and legs.
A nurse examined him and gave him some pain killer tablets and slept.
In the morning hours of Saturday 6 April 2013, he was led to an interrogation office where he was interrogated about firing two rockets against Israel.
The kidnaped person denied this and informed the interrogator that there were eyewitnesses that he was not in that area when rockets were fired.
The Popular Resistance Committees intervened and he was released.
In a separate incident, masked men kidnaped Y.
D.
24, while he was walking in Belal Bin Rabah street near An-Nejma crossroads in Rafah.
He was detained for an hour.
