IOF Attacks East of Khan Younis; 11 Persons Injured

At approximately 5:00 pm on Saturday 10 November 2012, Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) fired several artillery shells at water reservoir of Khuza’a village east of Khan Younis about 800 meters away from the separation fence between Gaza Strip and Israel.
As a result, 11 persons, including four women and two children, were injured.
Al Mezan has identified them as follows: Fat’hi Ibrahim An-Najjar, 50, sustained shrapnel wound in the face; Rasmiya Khalil An-Najjar, 45, sustained shrapnel wound in the left hand; Samir Mohammed An-Najjar, 50, sustained shrapnel wound in the abdomen; Ibtisam Eid An-Najjar, 40, sustained shrapnel wound in the right hand; Iyad Zaki An-Najjar, 28, sustained shrapnel wound in the chest; Ramiz Mohammed An-Najjar, 22, sustained shrapnel wound in the chest; Helen Mahmoud An-Najjar, 30, sustained shrapnel wound in the upper part of the body; Samir Khalid An-Najjar, 19, sustained wound shrapnel in the right hand; Mu’tasim Fawzi An-Najjar, 10, sustained shrapnel wound in the face; Dalal Fouad An-Najjar, 20, sustained shrapnel wound in the right hand; and Ibrahim Samir An-Najjar, 12, sustained shrapnel wound in the right hand.
Medical sources at Gaza European Hospital described their injuries as between light and moderate.
