Israeli Aircraft Attack Grocery Shop in Beit Lahiya; Three Persons Injured, Including Two Children

At approximately 2:10 am on Friday 3 February 2012, an Israeli aircraft fired a missile at a grocery shop in Beit Lahiya in North Gaza district.
  As a result, the shop was totally destroyed; 13 adjacent houses, two stores, a lawyer’s office, and four vehicles sustained partial damages.
  Three persons were injured, including two children, by window panes shattered by the explosion.
  Al Mezan has identified the injured as follows:   ·         Haiyat Fadel Ibrahim Taha, 3, sustained wounds in the left ear; ·         Wadee’ Mahmoud Al Ashqar, 3, sustained wounds in the face; and ·         Mohammed Mustafa Salman, 30, sustained wounds in the right leg.
  According to Al Mezan’s field investigations, the targeted shop is rented by Mahmoud As’ad Al Ashqar, 29, from the owner Ghazi Abed Mohammed Salman, 53.
  Israeli aircraft were flying over the area at a low altitude prior to the attack.
  People could clearly hear the sound of the aircraft.
  Residents were panicked and terrified by the explosion.
