Letter of Condolence
The Al Mezan Centre for Human Rights extends condolences to Haytham Manna’, our long-time friend and fellow activist in the Arab human rights movement, for the passing of his brother Maan.
Maan was killed by the security forces in Syria while participating in a peaceful demonstration and sit-in in front of the Engineers Union in the city of Deraa in southern Syria.
We extend our support to Maan’s family and wish them strength and patience.
We hope that the passing of Maan contributes to the establishment of democratic change and freedom in Syria.
