At around 3.00am today Monday 13 April 2009, the body of a 28-year-old woman from the western area of An-Nusairat Refugee Camp was taken to Shuhada Al-Aqsa Hospital in Deir Al-Balah town, according to Al Mezan field investigations. According to criminal investigation sources in Deir Al-Balah governorate, the victim was killed by asphyxiation with a water-soaked towel at around 11.30pm on Sunday 12 April 2009. She was killed in a field next to her home. A police patrol noticed activity in the area and discovered the body of the victim. She was taken to Shuhada Al-Aqsa Hospital, which transferred her to Shifa Hospital for an autopsy.
