Al Mezan Center for Human Rights issued a press release where it strongly condemned the assassination crimes committed on June 5th and confirmed that field investigations have proved the IOF's indifference towards civilians when they intentionally kill and injure Palestinians. Al Mezan reiterates that these crimes constitute grave violations of International Law, most notably the Fourth Geneva Convention Relative to the Protection of Civilian Persons in Time of War. Al Mezan is highly concerned with the increasing IOF offensive at a time the international community is unable to provide protection to Palestinian civilians in the Occupied Palestinian Territories (OPT), it also strongly condemns the ongoing crimes and highlights the importance of an intervention by the international community to provide protection to civilians and properties and pursuit war criminals who have assassinated civilians.
