On 16 April 2007 at app.8am, the IOF in the Gaza Strip's northern borders opened fire on Ziad Ajjour, 37, a mentally retarded man, while he was in former Dogeet settlement in north-west of Beit Lahia. He is in critical condition according to medics. The IOF have already targeted mentally retarded persons in the same area including Ajjour who has been wounded before.
