At app. 1am, on 14 May 2008, IOF penetrated 1200 meters deep into Abu Teir neighborhood, in eastern Abasan Al kabira, under air cover. They stormed into houses and turned them into military barracks. At app. 4.15 am, an IOF warplane fired a rocket that landed in an agricultural farm, but no injuries were reported. At app. 6.24 on the same day, an IOF warplane fired a rocket that targeted a group of youths in the same area. Two of them were injuried and were reported to have sustained serious wounds. In another attack, at app. 7.10 am, the IOF fired a rocket at a group of young men who were gathering in eastern the town, killing Mohammed Monir Habib, 23, and injuring one another. In this incursion, the IOF destroyed one house totally, and thee partially, and bulldozed 110 dunams of cultivated land and four poultry farm. The IOF pulled out from the area after detaining four Palestinians.
