IOF Opens Fire At Children Near Erez Crossing, Injures One

2:30 pm, on 15/5/2008, the IOF, stationed at the Erez Crossing, opened fire at dozens of children who had approached the Crossing.
As a result, 14-year-old Anwar Kaloub was injured by a live bullet to his right thigh.
He was reported to have sustained moderate injuries.

It is noteworthy that dozens of children and youths gathered near Al Jamarek junction to protest against the Israeli siege imposed on the Gaza Strip.
The junction is 500 meters from the Erez Crossing.
Some of them moved near Abu Iskandar and then towards 5/5 base, which are only meters from the Crossing.
