Gunmen Kidnapped Eight Members from Abu Sa'ada Family in Khan Younis

On Sunday, 27 July 2008, at approximately 9:00 am, gunmen, who identified themselves according to the kidnapped persons as from Al Qassam Brigades, kidnapped eight persons from Abu Sa'ada family from their houses in Bani Suhaila neighborhood in eastern Khan Younis, including 53-year-old Dr.
Mousa Salem Abu Sa'ada, Director General of the Legal Unit at the Ministry of Civil Affairs and former Mayor of Bani Suhaila.
The rest of the kidnapped persons were identified as: 47-year-old Abdel Hamid Suleiman Abu Sa'ada 45-year-old Mohammed Suleiman Abu Sa'ada 47-year-old Alaiyan Sulaiman Abu Sa'ada 18-year-old Ahmed Mohammed Abu Sa'ada 22-year-old Alaiyan Mohammed Abu Sa'ada 17-year-old Sulaiman Mohammed Abu Sa'ada 22-year-old Abdel Karim Sami Abu Sa'ada
Available information to the center indicated that the kidnapped persons were exposed to torture and humiliation during the arrest period in a site of Al Qassam Brigades in Bani Suhaila neighborhood.
Five among them were released on Monday, 28 July 2008, at approximately 1:00 am, while Abdel Karim Sami Abu Sa'ada was released at approximately 8:00 pm, who suffered from bruises to all parts of his body and Abdel Hamid Suleiman Abu Sa'ada was transported to the European hospital as he was hit by four bullets.
On Tuesday, 29 July 2008, at approximately 2:00 am, members from Al Qassam Brigades transported Mohammed Suleiman Abu Sa'ada to Nasser hospital as he suffered from fractures in his two legs and bruises to all parts of his body.
