On Friday, 15/8/2008, at approximately 6:00 am, the IOF warships, stationed on the Mediterranean Sea, opened fire toward a Palestinian fishing boat off the coast of Jabalya. Then they forced the two fishermen on the boat to swim toward the warship under fire. The fishermen are: Abdel Karim Al Nahal and Mohammed Al Assi, who were arrested for 8 hours. After having been released, Al Nahal and Al Assi swam till the coast after the IOF took over their boat.
