At around 21:00 on Friday, 14 November 2008, masked gunmen attacked a wedding party in Khiza'a town in eastern Khan Younis.
The groom was Bilal Abu Rjeela.
There were a music band and nearly 300 attendants, including family members, neighbors and friends.
Eyewitnesses stated that gunmen dispersed the attendants and broke chairs.
They set fire to the dance stage, sound system, a TV and a video camera.
They also fired a number of shots and caused damage to window glass of three cars: a jeep owned by the groom's father, a Peugeot pick-up owned by the music band and another car owned by another person.
