Around 13:20 on Monday, February 3rd, 2020, Israeli forces stationed off the west coast of Rafah in southern Gaza opened fire at Palestinian fishermen sailing at about five nautical miles from the coast. The Israeli forces used live ammunition and rubber-coated metal bullets in an intense attack which forced the fishermen to leave the place at once. The Israeli forces still rounded a boat carrying three fishermen (residents of Deir El Balah district) and confiscated 17 fishing nets. The boat belongs to Mohammed Ismail Abu Dgheim, a 29-year-old fisherman from Deir El Balah district (Middle Gaza). No casualties were reported.
