At 1pm on Saturday, 28 April 2018, Israeli forces located on the eastern borders of Malaka area in east Al Zaitoun neighborhood in east Gaza city opened fire and launched tear-gas canisters at Palestinians demonstrating near the borders in demand of their right of return to their homes from which they were expelled in 1948 and 1967. One Palestinian protester was moderately injured, as reported by doctors at Al Shifa Hospital. Israeli shooting continued until 7pm on the same day.
