At 4:15am on Friday, 27 April 2018, Israeli naval forces opened fire at Palestinian fishermen sailing off the coast of Al Waha area to the northwest of Beit Lahia city in North Gaza governorate. Israeli forces opened fire again at 6am and 7am on the same day at fishermen, forcing them to stop their work and escape the sea in fear. No casualties were reported.
