At approximately 5:00 pm on Sunday 9 February 2014, Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) arrested Mohammed Zayed, 23, near the separation fence between Israel and Gaza Strip east of Jabaliya.
According to his family affidavit, Mohammed didn’t come back home and they lost communication with him.
On Monday 17 February 2014, they received a call from lawyer Younis Al Qrenawi informing them that their son is detained in Beer Sheva.
On the same day, they received a phone call from an unidentified person told them that their son is detained at Ashderot Israeli police point, and they received another call from unidentified person telling them that their son is detained at Ashkelon prison.
According to Al Mezan’s filed investigations, Zayed suffers psychological problems, and there is still no information about the reason behind his sneaking across the Israeli side.
