At approximately 7:00 am on Thursday 17 May 2012, three Israeli tanks and armored bulldozers moved about 300 meters into the north of the As-Siyafa area, northwest of Beit Lahiya in North Gaza district.
Bulldozers leveled lands that had been razed before and opened fire at Palestinian farmers who were in their fields.
No casualties or injuries were reported, but farmers were terrified and abandoned their work.
The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) withdrew from the area in the evening hours of the same day.
