At approximately 7:30 pm on Tuesday 11 October 2011, the sound of an explosion was heard in the north of Beit Hanoun, North Gaza district.
According to the information available to Al Mezan, the explosion took place when a locally made rocket fell on the house of Jamal Jadallah Obaid Al Kafarna.
The house is located on Khalil Al Wazir street, opposite the UNRWA clinic in the north part of Beit Hanoun.
The house is about 2,300 meters from the northern separation fence between the Gaza Strip and Israel, and is located in a densely populated neighborhood.
