The Gaza government's internal security apparatus has continued to detain and summon Fayez Mohamed Mahmud Abu Atiya, 43, the spokesperson of Fatah movement.
At approximately 10am on Thursday 9 June 2011, the apparatus summoned Fayez Abu Attiya to its office in Jabalia town and released him at 6pm on the same day, but only after being issued another summons to present himself at the apparatus office on the next day.
When he went there on Wednesday 15 June 2011, he was again detained from 9am to 2pm, and then released with yet another summons for 21 June 2011.
According to Al Mezan's field investigations, the apparatus detained Abu Attiya in a small room and the reasons behind his detention have remained unknown.
