The Gaza security apparatus in Deir Al Balah detained a cameraman and a volunteer who work for the Palestinian Youth Association for Leadership and Rights Activation (PYALARA).
According to information available to Al Mezan, at approximately 1:30pm on Monday 25 April 2011, director and cameraman Yousif Abdel Rahman An-Nateel, 22, and Omar Khaeri Al Bal'awi, 20, were taking photos in Deir Al Balah to prepare for a short movie about Deir Al Balah when the police detained them.
The police transferred them to the police investigation unit.
The police interrogated them about the reasons behind taking photos of Deir Al Balah.
The police then referred them to the internal security apparatus.
At approximately 10:30pm on the same day, the apparatus released them.
