At approximately 9:30pm on Sunday 5 December 2010, Waleed Suleiman Mahmoud Darwish, 27, was injured in the hands causing amputation of the right hand. According to Al Mezan's field investigations, Darwish was at his house in the Al Shaboura neighborhood in Rafah when he was injured. Medical sources at Abu Yousif An-Najjar Hospital described his injury as moderate.
