On Thursday, 12/6/2008, at approximately 7:00am, the IOF, stationed along the northern border, opened fire towards two young men who were approaching the border.
The IOF then launched an artillery shell, targeting the men again.
As a result, 20-year-old Mohammed Jamil Dola and 24-year-old Khaled Ahmed Zohd were killed.
Five military vehicles proceeded to enter the same area and withdrew about thirty minutes later.
Medical teams arrived to the area of the incursion after the IOF withdrawal.
They found Dola's body and later located the body of Zohd, which had been partially covered by the earth.
The incident took place north of As Sayafa neighborhood in Beit Lahia.
