On Saturday, 14/6/2008, at approximately 10:30pm, officers of the Internal Security Apparatus of the deposed Ministry of Interior arrested two Fatah members.
Jamal Ebeid, the Secretary of Fatah in northern Gaza, and Fatah member, Yasser Mohammed As Sayyed, were arrested from their homes in Jabalia refugee camp and Beit Lahia project respectively.
They were released at approximately 6:30am the next morning.
It is noteworthy that the Internal Security Apparatus summoned many activists and leaders from Fatah on the occasion of the first anniversary of Hamas taking over of Gaza, on 14/6/2007.
