One Palestinian Injured in Israeli Shooting at Protesters in North Gaza

At 12:00pm on Monday, 9 April 2018, Israeli forces based in monitoring sites on the eastern borders opened fire and launched tear-gas canisters at hundreds of youth and children joining the “Great Return March” demonstration to the east of Al Shuhada cemetery in eastern Jabalia refugee camp in North Gaza governorate. One Palestinian was injured in the right leg. Medical sources in the Indonesia hospital described his wounds as serious. Additionally, gas inhalation injuries were dealt with in the field. Israeli shooting at protesters continued until the evening on the same day.
