Israeli Forces Open Fire at Young Palestinian Men in Eastern Gaza City

At 02:00pm on Monday, 15 January 2018, Israeli forces opened fire and launched tear gas canisters at a group of young Palestinian men who demonstrated near the borders of eastern Gaza city. The demonstration was organized to protest the latest U.S. decision to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. Shooting continued until 06:00pm on the same day. No injuries were reported.
