Unknown Men Detonate an Explosive Device in Al Zaiytoun Neighborhood Eastern Gaza City

At approximately 10:20 pm on Wednesday, 18 January 2017, unknown men detonated an explosive device  in front of the house of Fatah movement Secretary General  of the eastern area of Gaza, Nayef Khaled Khalil Khwaiter, 57. The house is located  in Al Ghalayeeni street  in Al Zaiytoun neighborhood eastern Gaza City.  As a result, windowpanes were damaged.  The police opened an investigation into the incident.  The perpetrators and the reasons  behind this incident  are still unknown.
