Hani was a distinct and clever child. He was diligent and made his prayers at the mosque. He was very compassionate to his father as his father was getting old. He obeyed his father and stayed close to him to help him.

Hani did not like to ride bicycles and did not like toys. One of his teachers called his father to ask about Hani’s absence from school and when Hani’s father told him that Hani had been killed, the teacher cried and said that Hani was intelligent and a distinct student. The teacher also said that he was ambitious in hoping to be a doctor to help sick people.

On Saturday 26 July 2014 at around 2:50 am Israeli forces dropped a bomb on their house. Hani was one of the many killed, at the age of seven..
