One-year-old Ali Mansoor Hamdi Al Bashiti from Khan Younis was a cute and lovely child. In the early morning hours of 23 July 2014, an Israeli warplane fired a missile at the Al Bashiti house, while the family members were sleeping. The house was completely destroyed in the attack and Ali’s mother, 27, and his brother, 8, died on the spot. Ali was critically injured and pronounced dead three days later.
According to his father, Ali was terrified during the Israeli military bombardment and would panic and rush to be comforted by his father when he heard the bombing.
