Mahmoud was 11 years old and from Al Shate'e refugee camp in Gaza City.  

On 28 July 2014, a group of children were waiting their turns to get on a swing when an Israeli warplane launched a missile directly in their midst. The attack left nine people including Mahmoud dead and many others seriously wounded.

Mahmoud’s relatives did not want to give any information about him.
