IOF Opens Fire at Group of Young Palestinian Men East of Khan Younis, Three Persons Injured

At approximately 5:00 pm on Friday, 20 March 2015, Israeli occupation forces (IOF) opened fire and launched gas canisters at a group of young men who were in Al Sunati and Al Faraheen areas east of Abbsan, east of Khan Younis. The men were about 15 and 500 meters away from the separation fence when the IOF opened fire at them. As a result, three persons were injured. They were admitted to Algeria Hospital where they received first aid and then referred to the Gaza European Hospital. Medical sources described their injuries as moderate. Al Mezan identified their names as follows:

  • Shadi Naji Abu Daqqa, 22, who sustained bullet wound in the left leg;
  • Anas Hamdan Qdeeh, 20, who sustained bullet wound in the left leg and shrapnel wound in the right leg; and
  • Fawzi Ahmed Qdeeh, 22, who sustained shrapnel wound in the left shoulder.
