Exchanged crossfire and kidnapping between armed Fateh men and Executive forces member

On 10/5/2007, at approximately 15:00, a state of tension predominates between armed Fateh men and Executive force members following several exchange kidnappings, which have occurred on this same day.
Tension has developed as both parties have exchanged fire, which resulted in the injury of Osama Sa'dy Abed, 38, resident of Al Bureij refugee camp, by a live bullet to his left leg.
The abducted men were released as senior leaders from both parties intermediated to solve the problem.
