Palestinian Dies from Injuries Sustained in IOF Shelling in An Nuseirat

At approximately 6:00pm, on 3 March 2008, medical sources from Egypt's Al Ismailia Hospital announced the death of 24-year-old Walid Tawfiq Abu Yousef, a resident of An Nuseirat refugee camp.

Earlier that day, at approximately 2:20am, IOF warplanes shelled the marine police base in An Nuseirat refugee camp.
As a result, 34-year-old Darwish Mekdad was killed and Abu Youssef was injured.
He was transferred to Shuhda'a Al-Aqsa Hospital and then to Al Shifa'a Hospital following the incident, where sources reported he had sustained serious injury.
