At approximately 6:30 pm on Saturday 10 September 2011, Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) arrested three Palestinians as they were trying to cross the separation fence between the Gaza Strip and Israel near the eastern town of AlQarrara in Khan Younis district.
The IOF rounded up the three persons after they had come under heavy fire 50 meters away from the separation fence.
The IOF ordered them through loudspeakers to surrender and to take off their clothes.
IOF soldiers then handcuffed and blindfolded them.
The individuals were then transferred to an Israeli site and interrogated for several hours.
During the interrogations the detainees were subjected to beatings and abuse.
At approximately 2:10 am on Sunday 11 September 2011, the IOF released the detainees with their hands cuffed and their eyes blindfolded near the evacuated Kissufim settlement east of Al-Qarara.
Al Mezan has identified their names as follows:
· Mohammed Nabil Abu Halib,17;
· Mossa Ghazi Abu Lihiya,17;
· Ahmad Younis Abu Lhya, 15.
