6:30am on Wednesday 21 October 2009, Yousif Mohammed Al-A'ttar, 22, was shot by several bullets.
According to his father's statement to Al Mezan Centre, Yousif received a call on his mobile phone while he was sleeping.
He walked to the door of his house directly after receiving the call.
He was surprised by one of his acquaintances holding a rifle, from which he opened fire at him.
As a result, he was injured in the leg, abdomen and the left hand.
He was admitted to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir Al-Balah town for treatment.
Yousif is a student at Al-Azhar University and lives in Al-Burej refugee camp.
