On 13 June 2007, at app. 18:30, armed men from the Qassam Brigades besieged the General Intelligence Apparatus building in Rafah and ordered those inside to surrender. At app 21:40 the armed men broke into the building and then detonated explosives withinit after confiscating all weapons.
