The escalating IOF aggression continues in Northern Gaza and Eastern Khan Younis, as civilians and their property are targeted with no warning.
The IOF frequently use excessive, disproportionate and lethal force against Palestinian civilians by arbitrary shelling from helicopters, tanks, and gun ships.
This latest offensive has resulted in the killing of 17 Palestinians and the injuring of 53, 7 of whom are children and 3 of whom sustained serious injuries.
In addition to this, electricity supplies were cut off in many parts of Gaza City, including Al Shifa hospital, as a result of the disruption of the main power transmitter which was also targeted by the IOF.

35 pm on July 6, an IOF scouting jet fired a rocket at a group of Palestinians gathered in Al Salateen area near Al Esraa mosque in Jabalia.
IOF tanks simultaneously fired on the same spot resulting in the killing of Ahmed Al Khaldi, 20, Mohammd Tafesh, 23, Mohammed Shaheen, 19, and Mahoud Fazaa, 27.
In addition, a further two were killed by IOF snipers: Abdurohman Alnajar, 22 and Ibrahim Abu Rashed, 18.

50pm on July 6, an IOF jet fired a rocket at a group of Palestinians near Al Tourazi oil station in Al Towam area in Jabalia, killing Fadi Obaid, 21, Ismael Abu Mattar, 24, Saed Ferwanah, 23, as well as two others who have not yet been identified.
The total number of Palestinians injured in Northern Gaza since midnight of 5 July has reached 48, including 7 children and 3 with serious injuries.

30am on July 6, the IOF penetrated into Al Farraheen area in Abassan, eastern Khan Younis, covered by arbitrary tank fire, and shelling by scouting jets and helicopters.

00pm, an IOF jet fired a rocket at a group of Palestinians in the area killing Mohammed Abu Tair, 21, and Mohammed Al Najar, 23, and injuring 5 others as well as causing damage to 3 housesReports show that a wide area of agricultural land was leveled by IOF bulldozers before the IOF withdrew at 4:00pm.
Al Mezan condemns the war crimes perpetrated by the IOF, and their policies of collective punishment.
Al Mezan emphasizes that the deliberate killing of civilians, shelling of civilians property and the leveling of agricultural land constitute grave breaches of international humanitarian law, particularly the 4th Geneva Convention Relative to the Protection of Civilian Persons in Time of War, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the International Covenant on Political and Civil Rights.
Al Mezan calls upon the international community, particularly the High Contracting Parties of the 4th Geneva Convention to fulfill their moral and legal obligations under international humanitarian law and provide protection to the Palestinians.
Al Mezan affirms that the continuing silence from the international community encourages the continuation of these aggressive IOF measures.
