Seven Palestinians Injured in Israeli Shooting at Protesters in Eastern Khan Younis

At 12:00pm on Monday, 9 April 2018, Israeli forces located on the eastern borders of Khan Younis opened fire and launched tear-gas grenades at protesters in Al Awda camp, organized in eastern Khuzaa town as part of the “Great Return March” demonstrations. Israeli forces kept shooting sporadically for eight hours at protesters around the camp; seven of them were injured, including a child. All casualties were taken to the European Gaza hospital, where their injuries were assessed to be light and were treated.
