At 16:30 on Thursday, 14 December 2017, Israeli forces fired bullets and tear-gas bombs at a group of youths while joining demonstrators throwing stones at Israeli forces near the border. The Israeli forces responded by sporadic shooting, injuring two men: Imad Deeb Abu Rham, 28-year old who was shot in the left leg, and Hussam Mohammed Aqel, 32. Both were taken to Abu Yousef Al Najjar hospital, where their injuries were assessed to be moderate.
