At approximately 4:00 pm on Saturday, 17 December 2016, Israeli gunboats opened fire at Palestinian fishing boats which were in the sea off Al Shate’ refugee camp in Gaza. As a result, fishermen were terrified and abandoned their work and sailed to land immediately. No injuries or casualties were reported.
