At approximately 11:30 pm on Wednesday, 8 June 2016, medical sources at Shifa Hospital described the injury of a young man as moderate who was injured due to exploding a small handmade explosive device. The young man and two of his friends were celebrating the holy month of Ramadan by fireworks and exploding small handmade explosive devices near Al Fayiroz towers northern Al Shatee’ refugee camp. As a result, two fingers of his left hand were amputated and he sustained shrapnel injury in the right hand and face. His two friends sustained minor injuries and were not carried to the hospital.
