At approximately 14:30 on Wednesday, 2 March 2016, Israeli occupation forces (IOF) opened fire at the Beit Dejin Primary Boys’ School, located at the eastern border, east of Al Sha’af neighborhood to the east of Gaza city. Eighth grade students and their teacher were traumatized, when several bullets hit the blackboard of their classroom on the third floor of the building. As a result, the school day was suspended in fear for students’ and teachers’ lives.
