At approximately 11:45 am on Wednesday, 27 January 2016, Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) arrested patient Linda Rebhi Abed Ibrahim Shabat, 20, resident of Beit Hanoun in North Gaza district while she was in front of Al Maqased Hospital in Jerusalem. The IOF blindfolded, handcuffed her, and took her to a place that she could not recognize. She was interrogated about her family and the reason of her presence in Jerusalem. At approximately 5:00 pm on the same day, she was taken to Kalandiaa checkpoint between Jerusalem and Ramallah. She was fainted there due to a severe exhaustion.
It’s worth mentioning that the patient suffers from severe infections in the nerves of her eyes. She went to Jerusalem to Al Maqased Hospital on 25 January 2016 with her mother for treatment and went back to Gaza on 1 February 2016.
