Thirteen-year-old Ismail from Rafah in the south of the Gaza Strip was a calm and stubborn child. His hobby was to dismantle and to repair electrical appliances, mobile phones and computers. He was an outstanding student. “His ambition was to join university and graduate” says his uncle Joma’ah, who is 27.
At 6:30 am on 3 August 2014, Wael Al Ghool’s house was bombarded by Israeli warplanes without warning. The house was completely destroyed. Seven people were killed instantly including Ismail.
