Ibrahim from Rafah in the south of the Gaza Strip was a very active, mischievous, likeable and also obedient child. His favorite activities were playing and watching football. He worked as a laborer to get money to buy himself little things he wanted. “He dreamt of being a famous football player,” his mother said.
On 1 August 2014, Ibrahim was targeted by an Israeli drone while on the street with a group of civilians. He was killed at the age of fifteen. He was buried along with his brother, Bader, and his brother in law, three days after they were killed. “They were unable to be buried sooner due to continued physical insecurity,” his mother added.
