Ibrahim Ahmed Sa’eed Al Hashash was a smart and sociable boy from Rafah who regularly attained top marks at school. He was awarded a scholarship from AMIDEAST, an American organization that works on international education and training activities, to study English for free. Outside of school, he enjoyed painting and playing football. His father hoped that he might become a lawyer.
“I was so proud of him when he earned the school honors,” said his father.
He was killed by Israeli drone as he was evacuating his home due to the dangerous situation in the vicinity of his home on 29 July 2014. He was 14 years-old when he died.
