Short Link:
Name: Abdel Rahman Nabil Mahroos Siam.
Date of birth: 28 April 2008
Date of death: 21 July 2014
Six-year-old Abdel Rahman from Rafah in the south of the Gaza Strip was a very active and energetic child. He was very enthusiastic about going to school. He liked holding bicycles races with his cousins. “He was awaiting the arrival of the Eid holiday so that he could celebrate. But then the war deprived the children of their wish,” his grandfather, Mahrous, says, who is 66.
The Siam family house was located adjacent to the Abu Sneimah home that was bombarded by Israeli missiles. The Siam family decided to evacuate. As soon as they went out to the street, they were hit by a missile. Ten were killed instantly, including Abdel Rahman. Many others were wounded.
“It’s so hard losing the family all at once,” added Mahrous.
