Short Link:
Name: Sarra’a Yaser Ahmed Abu Jame’e
Date of birth: 23 November 2011
Date of death: 20 July 2014
Two-year old Sarra’a from Khan Younis was a very active child. Her presence created a nice atmosphere in the house. “She smiled with everyone and would make us laugh with her gestures,” her uncle said. She accepted new people and never got scared. She would go out with other children to play. She liked to imitate older people. “She liked to put some makeup on and wear her mother’s clothes,” said her uncle.
On 20 July 2014, just before sunset, the Abu Jamee’s three-story house was bombarded by missiles by Israeli forces. There was no prior warning given. “It was a real massacre; twenty-six people were killed. Three people were injured and survived,” her uncle added.
