One and a half-year-old Samir, nicknamed ‘Samurah’, was from Khan Younis and was said to be a very naughty child. Samurah liked to do whatever he wanted and his family also did whatever he wanted them to do. He liked to play with sand, and when somebody would bother him, he would throw sand at them. He discriminated against girls; he used to hit his female cousins and pull their hair. “He had a strong personality and looked older than his age,” his uncle said.
At 2:50 am on 26 July 2014, Israeli warplanes dropped a bomb on his house. Twenty-one people were killed, including little Samurah.
