Eight-year-old Osama Mahmoud Hussein El Astal from Khan Younis “liked to dance ‘Dabka’ [the traditional Palestinian folk dance] and he was always singing for his mother,” said his aunt He loved going to visit his grandmother and other relatives and riding on his dad’s motorcycle.
On 16 July 2014, an Israeli warplane attacked their home without warning. Osama was killed along with his sister Yasmin, 5, his aunt, 58, and Hussein, 23.
