Name: Mohamed Attah Mohamed Al Najjar
Date of Birth: 29 May 2014
Date of Death: 29 July 2014
Two-year-old Mohamed Attah Mohamed Al Najjar from Khan Younis was described by his family as being a cute and smart little boy who was very attached to his mother. Even though he was only two years old, he had learned how to count and learned many letters in the alphabet. He seemed to them more like a six-year-old than a two-year-old. He loved going to visit his grandmother and riding on his grandfather’s motorbike with him.
On 29 July 2014, an Israeli warplane attacked his house without prior warning. As a result, Mohammed was killed in the attack, along with his father, Atta, 29; his mother, Ibtisam, 21; his sister, Rafef, 3; and his aunt, Smaa, 15.
